ReasonI've decided to post monthly rather than annually. Granted, I'll be breaking my submission pattern, but I think this will work better. I like working to deadlines, without them I get nothing done. Having a deadline several months away doesn't make a good deadline, and any work that I do complete in that time will probably be lost before I publish it. A monthly target seems to be good. Hopefully I can keep this up when University starts next month.
This month I've submitted twenty-three deviations, and twenty-seven scraps. Comments are very much appreciated, positive or negative.
RealityI'm definitely on my new University course now, which is a bit of a relief. I will also be studying an extra German module, which should be interesting. However, I don't have any accommodation in central London yet. This means that I will have to commute, for the first week at least. I guess more time staring out of a window will be good for me.
I've spent the past month getting a bit closer to friends and travelling around England, as my photography will show.
RetooledI finally got myself a new digital camera. It may not have millions of options to customise the way I take pictures, but it has enough. I'm quite pleased with it, especially given the results. I'm very happy to be free of the VGA resolution ditch I was stuck in with my old cameras.
ReactionI'm still slightly saddened by the recent departure of °jark. I did intend to subscribe sometime this summer, but it doesn't feel right. I guess when my student loan finally comes in I shall donate the same amount it costs to subscribe to °jark's legal fund. Not much, but it'll help him.
ReflectionThank you to all those deviants who are helping me along with my ventures into the three dimensional world. Special thanks should go to ~Unimatsuriku.
Thank you ~bwaa for inspiring me with your photography and ~jono1 for inspiring me with your interesting three dimensional work.
ResponseThank you for showing an interest in my work, and I hope to at least respond to any of your messages. I may take awhile to respond, but I will eventually - I'm quite the lurker.
